๐Ÿ“– How to Read This Guide

This reference guide covers common dosing ranges, cycle lengths, time off, benefits, and evidence levels. Some compounds have established clinical uses, while many others are experimental and discussed primarily in research or anecdotal settings. Please read accordingly.

  • Dose = The mass of the peptide (in mcg or mg) for a single administration. This is not the volume to draw into a syringe. Use the Peptide Dosing Calculator below to determine the correct volume (in mL or units) based on how you reconstitute your vial.
  • Cycle = common use window or study duration
  • Time Off = common break window when used cyclically
  • Notes = practical context, cautions, or why people use it

๐Ÿ“ Understanding Syringe Measurements

Insulin syringes are primarily measured in units to match insulin concentration, though the barrel itself is sized in milliliters (mL). They are not measured in milligrams (mg).

Syringe Units and Measurements
  • Units: Most insulin syringes are marked in units, with 1 unit typically equal to 0.01 mL.
  • Volume (mL): The total capacity of the syringe barrel is measured in mL. Standard sizes include 0.3 mL, 0.5 mL, and 1.0 mL.
  • Concentration Match: It is crucial to match the syringe type to the insulin concentration (e.g., U-100 syringes for U-100 insulin).
Common Syringe Sizes
Total Capacity Unit Capacity Dose Range
0.3 mL 30 Units Under 30 units
0.5 mL 50 Units 30 to 50 units
1.0 mL 100 Units More than 50 units

๐Ÿ“‹ Important Notes:
  • Always use sterile technique when reconstituting peptides
  • Store reconstituted peptides at 4ยฐC for up to 3 weeks
  • Freeze aliquots at -20ยฐC for longer storage (3-4 months)
  • Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles
  • Inject slowly at 45ยฐ angle to minimize foaming
